Free Introduction to Rowing

Harlem River Community Rowing is pleased to host a FREE Introduction To Rowing which will present the basics of flat-water or "Olympic" rowing to new boaters of all ages. Adults and youths may test their strength on ergometers (rowing machines).

Experienced rowers will lead an up-close look at a rowing shell and watch a rowing demonstration. Landlubbers and small children can take part in nautically-themed crafts activities and an environmental experiment.
