Add to CalendarPresently the headquarters for the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, this building has been a police station, zoo, weather station, and the first home of the American Museum of Natural History. Among its treasures are WPA lobby murals, original drawings of Central Park, and roof gardens with spectacular views. Guided tours will be given throughout the day.
