Recreation Centers will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 28, 2012. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. The Flushing Meadows Pool and Rink will be open for regular hours on Monday, May 28, 2012.

Shape Up NYC: Zumba

Zumba is a fusion of Latin, International and popular music dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system!  The routines feature aerobic, fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body with easy to follow dance steps.

If you are a first time participant, please complete this form and bring it to your first class.

*** Please Note: This class is canceled on Memorial Day, Monday May 28th. Normal scheduling will resume the following week.

Walk NYC

Starts April 18, 2012
     

Instructor: Angel Roman

Walk NYC is a FREE program that encourages New Yorkers of all ages to get fit while enjoying the outdoors. With funding provided by Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Parks will staff locations throughout the city with trained walking instructors to lead one-hour walks (unless otherwise noted).
