Mobile Recreation Program
Mobile recreation vans travel citywide providing equipment and instructional activities for community events, including in–line skating, baseball, arts & crafts, sports & fitness activities, and miniature golf.
Our Fitness Mobile is loaded with two 32” flat–screen TV’s with Dance-Dance Revolution, PS2 Games & Wii Fit!
The Skate Mobiles offer lessons and activities in inline skating. The program provides helmets and safety equipment as well as basic instruction, for all ability levels.
The Play Mobiles offer art, craft & nature projects, tabletop and board games, face painting, and balloon art, as well as more traditional activities such as relay races, tug–o–war, and jump roping.

Applications to reserve Mobile Units are not currently being accepted. Please check back in January for updated information on applying.
Mobile Units must be reserved as early as possible in advance of an event. Community groups should contact their borough recreation office and speak with the Mobile Unit Coordinator to process a request.
