99th Season of Free Summer Concerts at the Naumburg Bandshell

This annual series, produced by the Naumburg Family, presents symphonic and semi-classical music. It is the oldest continuous free outdoor concert series in the United States.

History of the Naumburg Orchestral Concerts

Since 1905, Naumburg Orchestral Concerts has presented free outdoor classical music concerts to New Yorkers of all walks of life. Founded by Elkan Naumburg and inspired by his own love of music, the series seeks to stimulate and encourage new and greater audiences for classical music in the informal and beautiful setting of Central Park. The series is now the oldest continuous free outdoor concert series in the United States.
