Each fall, New Yorkers come from all over the metropolitan tri-state area to participate in Parks’ annual Citywide Bocce Tournament.

Last year, 85 teams of four competed to represent their borough in the finals and for the chance to be crowned best bocce team in the city, making this one of the largest bocce tournaments in the country.

Preliminaries will be held at the following bocce courts on October 10:

  • Pelham Bay Park, Bronx
  • Juniper Valley, Queens
  • Marine Park, Brooklyn
  • South Beach, Staten Island
  • J.J. Walker, Manhattan

The finals will be held on October 11 at Pelham Bay in the Bronx. Winners receive cash prizes, bocce sets, and VIP Grandstand tickets at the columbus Day Parade and the opportunity to march.
