NYC Beach Volleyball Tournament — Coney Island, Brooklyn

July 11 & 12, 2009

Thanks for another successful tournament! Our 2009 event included about 250 teams and 600 players. Please stay tuned for event photos and video as they become available.

Compete in the largest free amateur beach volleyball competition on the East Coast, from one of New York's most exciting locations, Coney Island. Sponsored by the NYC Parks Department, this citywide championship gives both experienced players and casual novices the opportunity to play in a competitive tournament at a world-famous venue.

Over 150 teams of volleyball enthusiasts compete in preliminary rounds in July, with the best teams advancing to the finals to vie for bragging rights and great prizes.

Free for participants and spectators! All levels of play welcome!

Accessible seating area available by the event bleachers on the Riegelmann Boardwalk at West 10th Street.

* Registration is closed for all divisions. On-site registration will begin on Saturday, July 11 at 8:00 a.m.
