The GreenTeam currently seeks Recycling Volunteers and Education Volunteers to help out at upcoming events.
Recycling Volunteers will:
- Work in pairs and small teams to collect recyclables throughout the event.
- Teach event visitors about recycling in New York City.
- Compete to win prizes for the most recyclables collected at the event.
Education Volunteers will:
- Attend workshops to learn about cutting-edge environmental initiatives at NYC Parks.
- Conduct primary research on seasonal eco topics.
- Educate event visitors at the GreenTeam Education Booth.
