Crotona Park
Crotona Nature Center - Park Education Internships

Work outdoors in a beautiful Bronx park! Make a difference!

Crotona Nature Center, located in 127-acre Crotona Park in the Bronx, needs two creative, energetic Park Education Interns for the summer of 2005. The Crotona Nature Center offers a busy, supportive, and fun work environment and provides essential resources to our underserved community.

Interns will assist the Nature Center Coordinator with environmental education programs, greet visitors to the Nature Center, and assist in supervising teen interns. Interns will also have time for independent projects in their interests.

Interns must be interested in urban environmental education, be comfortable in an urban environment, and have good communication and writing skills. Interns must have completed at least one year of college. Experience in environmental education or working with children and teenagers is a plus. Stipends may be available.

For more information, contact the Nature Center Coordinator at (718) 378-2061.
