Intern

Citywide Services oversees a wide range of divisions that are part of the Department of Parks & Recreation. The Assistant Commissioner of Citywide Services manages the Urban Park Service, which includes Parks Enforcement Patrol and the Urban Park Rangers, Communications, GreenThumb, Art & Antiquities, Natural Resources Group, Partnerships for Parks, The Land Restoration Project and Community Resources.

Applicants should have an interest in city government, environmental issues, ecology, special events and independent work. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing administrative duties for the Assistant Commissioner of Citywide Services, providing logistical support at select special events and coordinating with Parks and inter-agency divisions on special projects. Independent and creative work is encouraged. Flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
