The Urban Park Service vow to “Preserve and Protect” our parks' most precious resources.
Urban Park Service is a division of New York City Parks & Recreation made up of Parks Enforcement Patrol, Urban Park Rangers, and Central Communications. Each consists of dedicated “Parkies” who preserve and protect our parks and public spaces by enforcing our rules & regulations, educating the public, advocating conservation, making our parks and public spaces clean and safe for all, and responding to the needs of our patrons.
