Central Park Summer Tours

Take a fantastic walking tour with the Urban Park Rangers as they lead explorations through the south end of Central Park, visiting areas such as The Lake, the Zoo, and Balto's hide–out. Learn how nature has come together through the hands of humans as you get a great introduction to this wonderful gem of New York City.
Join the Urban Park Rangers as they guide you through Central Park’s most picturesque and historic places. Discover the amazing forsight Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux has as they designed the world’s most famous park.
Tours are free, no pre–registration is required, and the strolls last for one hour, so be sure to wear walking shoes.

From the Maine to the Mall
Explore the south end of the park, including the Children's District,
Lake, and the Mall. Meets on the north side of Columbus Circle,
59th Street and 8th Avenue, behind the Maine Monument.

Strawberry Fields Forever
Begin with the tranquility and beauty of Strawberry Fields then enjoy Bethesda Terrace and the Mall as the tour takes you east, across the park. Meets at 72nd Street and Central Park West, on the south east corner.
