Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City
The Mayor's Fund raises money
to promote the general welfare of the City's residents
and aid civic improvements and support the work of
many City agencies, including Education, Parks, Health
and Cultural Affairs and other quality of life initiatives.
By contributing to Parks through the Mayor's Fund, you will enhance Parks' educational and recreational programming, support our work in the field of urban natural resource restoration and help improve park management practices.
As stewards of nearly 14% of New
York City's land, the Department of Parks & Recreation
builds and maintains clean, safe and accessible parks
Citywide and programs these parks with recreational,
cultural and educational activities for people of
all ages. Through this work, Parks & Recreation
improves people's lives, providing outlets for creative
expression, opportunities for healthy recreation and
exposure to the restorative beauty of the natural
world.
To make a monetary contribution to Parks, please make your check payable to:
One Centre Street, 23rd Floor
NY, NY 10007
Tel: 646-587-5680
Please specify on the check that the money should be allocated to the NYC Parks & Recreation Department.
