Free Adapted Aquatics Instruction

The Adapted Aquatics program is free and offers aquatic exercise therapy that ranges from gentle water walking to aerobic-type exercise which improves range of motion, flexibility, mobility, muscle tone, coordination, focus and strength, as well as swim instruction that focuses on becoming comfortable in the water and learning basic swimming and safety skills.


  • Session 1: October 23, 2015 through January 8, 2016
  • Session 2: January 15, 2016 through March 18, 2016
  • Session 3: April 1, 2016 through June 10, 2016


Lottery registration for session one begins on Monday, October 5 at 9:00 a.m. and closes on Tuesday, October 13 at 5:00 p.m. Winners are chosen at random. Applicants who are not chosen will be placed on a waiting list. You will be notified by phone of the lottery results by Thursday, October 15. The waiting list will be used to replace anyone who drops out of the program. Replacements are chosen from the waiting list randomly.
