On July 21, 2011, Parks cut the ribbon on two new tot lots on Staten Island, including the Silver Lake Tot Lot in Silver Lake Park. This new tot lot includes accessible play equipment, swings, painted games, benches and a picnic table, providing access to an exciting and educational playground for community children, parents and care-givers, and making Silver Lake Park an even greater neighborhood destination.
