On August 23, 2007, NYC Parks cut the ribbon on $2.7 million in improvements to Ciccarone Playground in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx. The renovations have led to a redesigned and unified recreational area, with play spaces for kids and teens, and fitness paths, game tables, and a bocce court for adults.
