NYC Parks urges caution during the snow storm predicted for Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

2010 ING New York City Marathon

The 2010 ING New York City Marathon brought more than 40,000 participants to the streets of New York on Sunday, November 7. Tens of thousands of people cheered the runners as they made their way along the 26-mile route.
