International Coastal Clean-Up

9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Help the Bronx River Alliance and the Friends of Soundview Park improve the health of the Long Island Sound, and remove waterfront debris.
Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Complimentary breakfast for volunteers will be provided by Cabot Creamery Cooperative and The Farmers' Gratitude Grille. Lunch will provided by Whole Foods. Fun activities by REI!
Please note: There will be a shuttle service from the Morrison Avenue/Soundview Avenue 6 train station from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and returning back to the train after clean-up.

Know Before You Go
Portions of this park will be closed to bring an exciting and playful space for children, teenagers and adults to play. The new Metcalf Playground will bring an exciting and playful space for children, teenagers and adults to play and recreate. And a natural amphitheater and performance lawn will allow concerts, theater performances, and other cultural programs to be conducted in Soundview Park.
