Learn about the MillionTreesNYC initiative and how to plant and care for trees on your block with this workshop. We will discuss proper street tree care, species selection and citizen pruning programs followed by a brief tour and assessment of street tree plantings in the neighborhood. This workshop will also include a hands–on component with the opportunity to care for some street trees in need of some TLC.
