Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

Throw Your  Hands In The Air , and Wave Them Like You Just Don't Care

This the 40th year of the musical and social force known as hip hop. Join storyteller Daniel Carlton, musicians,  and guest/rappers as he weaves tales inspired by or remixed for the  boom bap beats, rhythmic rhymes , and  culture of hip hop. Throw your hands in the air, and wave them you just don’t care during  stories that use lots of audience participation  creating , familiar tales remixed(see what happens to Jack and the beanstalk), beats to dance to, and new stories like "The Lost Boombox" and other tales. Oh, yeah, and lots of dancing too. Throw your hands in the air, and wave them like you just don’t care. Word up!
