Stop in for a FREE day of fitness at one of New York City’s 30 Parks recreation centers! Every first Monday of the month, the City’s recreation centers open their doors for a day of free fitness programs and activities. Take advantage of aerobic classes, yoga, weight-training, cardio machines, and more. Some classes are available for a small fee. Find out more about your local recreation center by checking out BeFitNYC, Parks’ online fitness search engine.Remember to bring a photo ID and a towel if you want to work out. The Flushing Meadows Corona Park Aquatic Center is not included in this promotion.

Annual recreation center memberships are $75 for adults ($50 for centers without indoor pools), $10 for seniors, and free for children under 18. The Flushing Meadows Corona Park Aquatic Center is not included in this promotion.

Recreation center hours may vary by location; some Centers closed to the public between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m; call before you go for specific hours and program information..
