Directions to Randall's Island

Under Construction
The Sunken Meadow ballfields on Randall's Island are closed for reconstruction. We are building 19 new softball fields, 11 new baseball fields, two Little League fields and five seasonal soccer fields in this area. We are also reconstructing the surrounding landscape, paths and utilities and providing pedestrian lighting. A path network is being created to separate pedestrians and cyclists from vehicles, and to keep cars off of the playing fields. A new comfort station will also be provided in this part of the park.
Anticipated Completion: Spring 2010
