Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

Randall's Island Park Trail Maintenance

Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Search options on the right to find upcoming events.

Come join the Randall's Island Park Alliance Natural Areas Crew to maintain the trail in the Freshwater marsh. Tasks include weeding invasive vegetation and pruning trees. Other tasks may include shoreline clean-up in the Salt Marsh. All training and tools will be provided. Please RSVP by Friday evening so we can adequately stock up on gloves and tools.
