Important Winter Storm-Related Service Changes

New York City parks are now open. We continue to urge caution in parks under wintry conditions: parks paths can be slippery, snow cover can cover frozen lakes and bodies of water, and branches may have fallen. If you see a fallen branch call 311.

Some recreation centers will open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. today with limited staffing.

Bird Watching Buddies

Explore the wetlands and woodlands of Randall's Island Park in search of migratory birds on Saturday, April 27. In addition to the guided tour lead by the Natural Areas Crew and the NYC Audobon, participants will create wildlife-themed arts and crafts, enjoy lemonade and cookies, and receive compimentary guidebooks and binoculars for use during the event.

This event is suitable for children ages 7-14 with a caregiver. Participants will meet near Icahn Stadium prior to the guided tour.
