Pelham Bay Park Invasive Removal and Tree Stewardship

Volunteer with Natural Areas Volunteers (NAV) at Pelham Bay Park to care for newly planted trees. This work will help maintain the livelihood of the restored forest. Volunteers will be trained in tree care, invasive weed identification and removal techniques. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants and clothing that can get dirty. Please meet your NAV Technical Leader at the north east corner of the Orchard Beach parking lot. This project is appropriate for adults, and youth groups, and high school and up. Space is limited. Registration is required for this event.
