Susan Deland discusses her recent book Spectacular Bond: Reaching the Child with Autism.
After her daughter, Diane, was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the age of three, Ms. Deland met Dr. Marion Blank of Columbia University, whose Spectacular Bond program has transformed the lives of autistic children and their families.
Co-sponsored by The Historic House Trust of New York City, Jeanette and Paul Wagner Educational Program for Children with Disabilities.
There will be a book signing and reception after the presentation.
