Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

Please join the Natural Areas Volunteers (NAV) in a storm cleanup of Paerdegat Basin. Volunteers will help remove large and small debris from the coastline. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants and clothing that can get dirty. Space is limited.
