Is our unusual weather part of a natural pattern, or are we experiencing a global change?Understanding our climate helps us prepare our city for a more sustainable future. Our Urban Park Rangers will introduce you to these important scientific concepts that will help you prepare for the future.
Our weather programs will delve deeply into everyday weather events including lightning and thunder, clouds and the water cycle, as well as hurricanes and extreme storms. All programs are lectures appropriate for all ages, and feature little or no walking.

Know Before You Go
The field house and comfort station are closed. We are reconstructing the field house with new restrooms, community space, storage and workspace for the park staff. Temporary toilets are provided in the park.
