NYC Parks urges caution during the snow storm predicted for Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

Noonan Playground is currently undergoing renovations. This project will reconstruct a portion of the playground, improving safety within the park and providing definitive circulation for park users. A new spray shower and new play equipment will provide recreation for a wide range of children including those requiring ADA accessible features. The project will also extend the green space, mitigate drainage issues and enhance the main entrance of the park.
Anticipated Completion: Spring 2015
