Compost, when made right, should smell like the forest. Come learn about geosmin, that lovely earthy smell, and other secrets of the soil, through a forest walk with Greenbelt educators and the NYC Compost Project on Staten Island.
Meet at the parking lot at the end of Nevada Avenue. Please wear comfortable footwear. Registration is required.
