 Basketball Courts

There are hundreds of outdoor courts in New York City. In the basketball capital of the world, it's possible to find a game within walking distance of any location. Recreation Centers in all five boroughs have indoor courts as well.

Come join us this summer for wheelchair basketball at the following locations:

  • Roy Wilkins Family Center, Jamaica, NY: Saturdays, 3-5 p.m.
  • 54th Street Recreation Center, 54th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues: Mondays, 6-9 p.m.

How to Reserve an Athletic Field or Court
Organized leagues or special events need a permit to use an athletic field or court. For people under 18, the permit is free. For those 18 and over, a fee is required.

To reserve space, please see our Athletic Permits and Applications page.
