Highbridge Park, Caring for Young Trees

Volunteer with Natural Areas Volunteers (NAV) at Highbridge Park to care for newly planted trees. This work will help maintain the livelihood of the restored forest. Volunteers will be trained in tree care, invasive weed identification, and removal techniques. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Please meet your NAV Tech Lead at West 155th Street and Edgecombe Avenue. Space is limited. Registration is required for this event.

Highbridge Field House
Highbridge Field House is currently closed for renovations.
The historic Brush stairway located at West 157th Street is being reconstructed with the same utilitarian characteristics and simple expression of steel and concrete as the original. While incorporating similar materials, the stairway will be upgraded to meet today's building code. The lower area along the Harlem River drive will be improved with new picnic tables, a game table, benches and landscaping.
