Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

New York City is home to an amazing abundance of wildlife. Our Rangers will guide you to the best wildlife viewing spots in New York City.  We offer birding programs throughout the year.   Birding programs are appropriate for all skill levels and beginners are welcome.  To enhance your experience we encourage you to bring binoculars and field guides, or ask a Ranger to borrow a pair.
