Grant Park, used by the students at nearby Public School 88, is a multi-use space renovated with funding from the mitigation of the Croton Filtration Plant. Named for Ulysses S. Grant, 18th President of the United States, Grant Park features a playground with a climbing area, a spray shower, swings, benches, and a large lawn, making the park a multi-use space for the entire community. Grant Park may be best known as the home of the nearby Dred Scott Bird Sanctuary, a haven for birds that migrate each year.
