Fitness Walking Programs in Fort Tryon Park

Join us for one hour of walking, stretching, strengthening, and body toning using only the park, our own bodies, and gravity. All levels welcome; we modify the program to meet your level of ability.  These walks are year-round.  Heavy rain cancels.

The program is free but pre-registration is required.  To register, email Nancy at healthwriter2@aol.com. For more information, call Linda at (212) 795-1388 ext. 304.

Please note: We offer weekday Fitness Walking programs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.  The meeting place is the same.

Advisory: From August 30, 2009 through September 12, 2009, the fitness walks will be self-guided as Nancy will be unavailable.
 

Location: Fort Tryon Park: Meet at the entrance to the Heather Garden on Margaret Corbin Circle where Cabrini Boulevard and Fort Washington Avenue converge.
