Join us at Flushing Meadows Corona Park for a family weekend festival to celebrate the Rocket Thrower sculpture with space-themed arts-and-crafts projects, “rocket throwing” contests, and music. On Saturday, May 5, The Queens Museum of Art is sponsoring a large collaborative community art making project. On Sunday May 6 at noon, join tour guide John Kriskiewicz to explore The Rocket Thrower: Robert Moses, The 1964/65 World's Fair, and Art in the Space Age.
