PARK FACT:

Although Liberty Pool was constructed in the 1970s, the site of the surrounding park was acquired by New York in 1936, the same year WPA funded public pool construction all over the city.

Outdoor Pools

Outdoor pool hours are from 11:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m., with a break for pool cleaning between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The outdoor pool season began on June 29 and ends Labor Day, September 5.
