    LIBERTY WON ON THESE SHORES MIGHT BE / THE HERITAGE OF THE WORLD.

    HERE THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE WAS READ TO WASHINGTON'S
    ARMY JULY 9, 1776.
