Amlan Ganguly, a lawyer-turned-social entrepreneur, has sewn hope in the poorest neighborhoods of Calcutta by empowering children to become leaders in improving health and transforming their communities for the better.

In order to perform necessary maintenance and repairs, the Chelsea swimming pool will be closed from Thursday, October 1 - Saturday, October 31. The pool will reopen for normal business hours on Sunday, November 1. While the pool is closed, please feel free to explore any of our five other indoor pools in Manhattan, included with your membership. Among them: Tony Dapolito (West Village), Gertrude Ederle (Upper West Side), and Asser Levy (Kips Bay). On Columbus Day, Monday, October 12, this Recreation Center is open from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
