It's My Park: Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads by Ai Weiwei
The exhibition "Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads" by Ai Weiwei is on view from May 4 to July 15, 2011 at 59th Street and 5th Avenue. The artist was to have attend the opening, but was detained in China on April 3rd. The installation, his first public artwork, depicts the signs of the zodiac in bronze casts positioned in the the historic Pulitzer Fountain at Grand Army Plaza in Manhattan.
