Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Search options on the right to find upcoming events.

Welcome the migratory birds back to Central Park and learn why they spend the summer in the Park. The Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary & Audubon Center will bring a couple of it's beloved birds and answer your question about migration in a lively lecture. Afterwards, the Urban Park Rangers will offer a birding tour in the Ramble at 1:00 pm ( sign up at Belvedere Terrace) in conjunction with the On a Wing program.

All ages welcome. Free. No advance registration. Weather permitting; this program will be canceled in inclement weather. For more information and day of weather-related cancelation, call (212) 772-0210.

This program is part of the On A Wing series. Each spring, the On A Wing programs celebrate the lives of winged Park creatures through free lectures, nature walks, and family activities. For more information and to see the full schedule of events, visit the On A Wing webpage.
