Walk through the four-year-old Brooklyn Bridge Park’s native plant gardens at Pier One: freshwater pools, woodland, prairie, and salt marsh habitat. While looking for spring blooms, we will also keep an eye open for the insects and birds that have found this rich mixture of habitats a welcoming place, and discuss the interrelationships of plants, pollinators, and ecosystems.
