Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

There's many ways to celebrate the past in this special place. Van Cortlandt Park Conservancy and PSAL will register participants at Proceeds will go towards keeping the trail in tip top condition.
