His latest show production, “American Voices,” has been receiving high critical acclaim as it highlights heritage, faith, friendship and American patriotism. This show features Crystal Gayle and Larry Gatlin, who also make guests appearances in Cooney’s latest album It’ll Be Me (2008). Ronan Tynan, a world renowned Irish tenor, also collaborates with Cooney on this album. Out of his 15 albums, this one truly showcases Cooney’s vocal talents. Recorded in Ireland with the RTE Concert Orchestra, Cooney’s vocal range and ability is exemplified, placing him in a league of his own.
