Gatehouses
The most visible remnants of Manhattan's portion of the Old Croton Aqueduct, outside of Highbridge Park, are three gatehouses. These regulated water flow and provided maintenance access to the aqueduct tunnel.

- 135th Street/Amsterdam Avenue near Convent Avenue (southwest corner)
- 119th Street/Amsterdam Avenue (southeast corner)
- 113th Street/Amsterdam Avenue (southwest corner)
