British Memorial Garden — Hanover Square

Hanover and Pearl Streets

The British Consulate General and the British community in New York have partnered with the City to create a new green space will be created on historic Hanover Square. The garden will serve as a focal point of remembrance for those lost in the September 11, 2001, World Trade Center disaster, and commemorate the historic relationship with the United States.
