Lower Manhattan Redevelopment

As part of the comprehensive effort to rebuild and improve the area, the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC) has allocated approximately $24 million for Phase 1 work, and approximately $50 million for the Fulton Corridor, East River Access and Open Space Phase 2 program to the City of New York Parks & Recreation. These parks will act as a catalyst for redevelopment, improve the quality of life throughout Lower Manhattan, and give the inhabitants of New York City more room to relax and to play.
