Give back to your park this fall by volunteering in events held by NYC Parks and its partners. Whether you're planting a tree, re-painting a playground, or helping us clean up litter, you're doing your part to help make NYC a greener place to live.

It's My Park Day

Each It's My Park Day, thousands of New Yorkers come together to volunteer and celebrate their neighborhood parks and public spaces throughout the five boroughs! Fall It's My Park Day takes place on Saturday, October 15. Find a site near you, and dig in!

MillionTreesNYC Volunteer Planting Events

MillionTreesNYC is halfway to its goal! During planting seasons, MillionTreesNYC volunteers work together to help reforest parks with as many as 20,000 new trees in a day! There are also community tree planting efforts in smaller parks.

Adopt-a-Tree

Not able to come plant a tree? Help take care of a tree near you! This fall, MillionTreesNYC has made its Adopt-a-Tree program easier to use, and more fun! You can find street trees that need care, learn more about them, and help care for them, earning yourself "green points" in the process.

GreenTeam

The GreenTeam is a dedicated group of New Yorkers pitching in to reduce the ecological footprint of public events in parks. You can join them this fall at Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, October 29. Help us recycle and compete to win prizes!
