Partnerships for Parks
Want to start volunteering, but don't know how? Partnerships for Parks leads volunteer programs for New Yorkers who want to make their neighborhood parks thrive.
Partnerships for Parks is a public-private partnership led by NYC Parks and the City Parks Foundation.
NYC Parks Volunteer Programs
This day-long celebration of volunteering in neighborhood parks takes place at more than a hundred parks and playgrounds around the city.
In this program, teens become stewards of their neighborhood parks and recreation centers, by learning how to make a “green” positive impact in their community and encouraging the public to recycle. Email Green.Teens@parks.nyc.gov for more information.
Volunteer Opportunities with Partner Organizations
During planting seasons, MillionTreesNYC volunteers work together to help reforest parks with as many as 20,000 new trees in a day!
Find a local street tree that needs attention and volunteer to care for it, helping us grow NYC’s urban forest and earning yourself "green points" in the process.
