This Weekend In Parks
National Girls and Women in Sports Day
To commemorate National Girls and Women in Sports Day, we're hosting free events across the city! Girls and young women are invited to practice their skills in soccer, rugby, track and field, volleyball, tennis, rowing, double dutch, and more. The first program takes place this Saturday at Chelsea Recreation Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., so get ready to get fit! Stay tuned for information on more National Girls and Women in Sports Day events happening in more parks throughout the five boroughs in the coming weeks.
Winter Birding
NYC Parks offer natural opportunities to see birds all year long. Trained experts offer bird walks throughout the city to see resident and migratory birds all winter. Join us this Saturday at 8 a.m. in Inwood Hill Park for our Urban Park Rangers' last eagle-spotting walk this season!
